I think it's really neat how every language interprets and hears animal sounds so differently. Below is a list of Spanish animal sounds that you can teach your children. I think your children will enjoy learning this.
dog - guau guau
cat - miau
rooster - kikiriki
turkey - gluglu
cow - muuu
duck - cuac cuac (I've seen a few different spellings on this one.)
pig - oinc oinc
donkey - iii-ahh
bird - pio pio
